An Amateur's Point of View

I know I've been away for a few weeks. I have been busy with stuffs and just haven't got the time to actually post something in here. Besides that, I wasn't out shooting like usual since I was in school the whole time and the only thing I could do is sit and listen to the lectures. I think that is pretty boring to me. Going to the same routine every single day. There's just aren't any surprises or wonderful things happening. But during the weekends, it feels good because I got to go back home. Last weekend, I was on a trip with my parents to Kudat, a town to the north of where we are living. We didn't actually go to town but just visit the places somewhere there. There's a beach which is called Terongkongan Beach. It is a beautiful place if you know how to see the beauty of it. The cool breeze and the sound of the waves just make you feel relax and peaceful. Last week, I went up to a hill which I don't know what the name is but the place is near Kg. Kionsom Batu 1, Tamparuli. My dad brought us there to see the sunset. We had just finished with an evangelistic meeting by a Seventh-day Adventist organization called ShareHim. After some travelling, we came up to this place. We could see some part of Tamparuli and Tuaran, the two towns that is near my place. During that time it was hazy and you can actually smell smoke all around! But thank God we could still breathe.. I probably won't be able to post more photos from my travel as well as stuffs that I do. Since I'll be away from my very own laptop for editing, writing, viewing stuffs, etc. There's a cyber cafe near the place I study but that place just isn't good for me. I can only play games and surf the Internet but I don't got to use other stuffs. I will only be away for a few days. The other day, I was out in my garden when I saw this spider on a flower. I'm not sure whether it's really a flower but I think it's a wild one. Since I brought my Point and Shoot camera, a Canon A580, with me. I thought of taking a photo of it. I adjusted the settings of the camera and put it under macro mode. When I reach home, I post processed the photos. This is what I get.
