An Amateur's Point of View

I was visiting the place called Bukit Kokol again. This time it was when I was doing my practical in an electrical shop. The place where were going is above sea level. All I know is there's a Christian church in the process of being completed. The view up to the place is so beautiful. If only I have a house there, I could just look at it and feel the goodness and coolness of the place. I've posted some photos of this place but that was a some time ago and during that time I wasn't able to take the picture from the hill above Menggatal. Just see for yourself. It's better to be up here early in the morning than in the afternoon because almost all the time it will be misty and raining.  Happy Sunday and weekend!

I know I've been away for a few weeks. I have been busy with stuffs and just haven't got the time to actually post something in here. Besides that, I wasn't out shooting like usual since I was in school the whole time and the only thing I could do is sit and listen to the lectures. I think that is pretty boring to me. Going to the same routine every single day. There's just aren't any surprises or wonderful things happening. But during the weekends, it feels good because I got to go back home. Last weekend, I was on a trip with my parents to Kudat, a town to the north of where we are living. We didn't actually go to town but just visit the places somewhere there. There's a beach which is called Terongkongan Beach. It is a beautiful place if you know how to see the beauty of it. The cool breeze and the sound of the waves just make you feel relax and peaceful. Last week, I went up to a hill which I don't know what the name is but the place is near Kg. Kionsom Batu 1, Tamparuli. My dad brought us there to see the sunset. We had just finished with an evangelistic meeting by a Seventh-day Adventist organization called ShareHim. After some travelling, we came up to this place. We could see some part of Tamparuli and Tuaran, the two towns that is near my place. During that time it was hazy and you can actually smell smoke all around! But thank God we could still breathe.. I was travelling with my family to visit a place called Bukit Lalang. It's a small village somewhere in Kota Marudu. The place is near the oil plantation. The place is on top a hill overlooking Kota Marudu's oil plantation. On the horizon you can actually see the sea of which is the Marudu Bay. The place is quite secluded from the busy road since going to the place takes quite a few minutes to reach. The community is quite friendly to the outsiders but just have to behave ourselves. Just a brief summary about the place from what I see.
