Kiulu 4M Bamboo Challenge
Last Sunday, the 6th of December, there was an event called the Kiulu 4M Challenge or in short K4MC. 4M stands for 4 disciplines each contestant compete for; Manangkus (running 6 km), Mamangkar (bamboo rafting for 5 km), Manampatau (swimming with bamboo for 1.3 Km) and Mamarampanau (walking with bamboo stilts for 0.2 km). This time around its the 12th time it was held in Pulou Kelapa, Kg. Malangang Baru, Kiulu. The event attracts local people as well as foreigners and other organizations such as the media - RTM, AirAsia, etc. The event was officiated by Datuk Louis Rampas, the Kiulu Assemblyman. The event started at 8.10AM with the VIP's arrival and the first flag off at 9.10AM with the Extreme and Junior categories. This was followed by the Women Singles as well as the Double Mix and other categories as well.
