Are you a fashion lover?

OK. I know my blog should be a photography related blog. You must be thinking why I'm suddenly talking about fashion. Just to put it simple, I love fashion. Ever since stepping on the Land of Smiles I've been influenced by my friends into fashion. Before, I would put my hairstyle to the classic hairstyle of bola tengah or middle line hairstyle (I'm not sure what the call it) and wear clothes that kind of look nice. I never even ventured myself into putting on the cool outfits the Korean, Japanese or British fashion. I only know I was going to wear what looks nice back then. Ever since Korean drama and pop music hit the world, I was still going through lives not knowing about them. I don't really know much about them until I came to university. That's like close to 2 years ago. I kind of know a few Korean actors and singers but not really into them. Since downloading dramas and listening to Korean songs on Youtube was quite hard because of the slow Internet connection back in my country, I never tried to put myself into knowing other things - music, fashion, dramas, etc.

It all started back in my first semester in university. I know I was going to get a culture shock but since I was just feeling to thrilled being in a foreign country and to a university that I've known for quite some time and I wished that I was there, I can't stop the excitement. I know those people who used to be in their own country for ages would feel the unusual experience when they go to another places. That's what happened to me. Of course, being a foreigner or farang like what most Thai people say, I wished I can go back home after 2 weeks of school. But meeting new people and new culture opened my eyes. I was seeing new things. Fashion was one of them. Right now, I'm still wearing the same outfits I had back home. I'm not like other people who know fashion at an early age in which they know most of the popular brands like Gucci, Prada, TOPMAN, etc., but I was just an orang kampung. Being a village-town kid I don't get to experience those things around me. However, now that I know a bit about fashion and how to dress smart, I kind of want to look like the models in the runaway and stars wearing those cool outfit. I've heard that first impression counts. So if you want to look smart, you have to dress smart. Those were things that I've learned so far. Of course it goes more in-depth like how to match your shirt color with your pants or shoes color.

The world of fashion is big. There's just so many things that you can learn. From Korean to British fashion and from Vera Wang's fashion to Christian Dior's fashion.

I'm currently following a fashion blog by Zamri A. As far as I know his blog mainly talks about all the British fashion like Asos and Topman. I think he also blogs about other brands coming from different countries such as Japan. In some of his blog posts, he tells his readers how to dress smart for work or for events. So, if you're a fashion lover, do you want to look smart too? (I know the answers already though)
