Bedridden

Being bedridden because of sickness sure is a bad thing. Many people don't like it. I don't like it. No matter how hard we try to stay healthy we will still get sick one day. I remembered when I first came to university here in Thailand, I never got really sick because of a common illness. That was almost about one and a half years ago. Now, I finally got it. I got sick. I have a bad sore throat, a runny nose and a bad headache which sometimes made me feel like fainting. Good thing it wasn't bird flu because at this time around the authorities has increased their awareness that it is the bird flu season since in neighboring countries there have been some cases already.

There were only two things I can think of about what made we sick. Bad food and bad environment. The food I ate was a spicy chicken with rice. All I know at that time was to fill my stomach since I was hungry. I knew also that eating spicy is bad for me since I have gastric. But to no avail, I ignored myself. The food which I ate was too spicy I couldn't finish eating them and had to put them to waste. I just wasted my money for something I couldn't eat and finish. Another thing was the environment. I live with my roommate and he is sick. I think I got it from him since he kept on coughing and sneezing. He even doesn't want to see a doctor when he needs to when my friends asked him. Oh well, let him live his life. Besides, the weather keeps changing here. At one time, it will be cold and the next day it will be very hot and dry. Just imagine that! It's like being in the Arctic Pole and just suddenly you're teleported to Sahara desert. Good thing it's only an imagination. Life would really suck if it were to be like in the movies. Do you remember Jumper?

Anyway, yesterday I went to see the doctor. Good thing I know where to find a clinic. The doctor was really kind and asked how she could help me with my illness. So yeah, I told her my story. She listed 3 medicines for me: Paracetamol, Antibiotics and Clarinase Repetabs. The medicines are huge! My friend from my country said the medicine in Thailand are bigger compare to Malaysia. I guessed all medicine are the same but I don't remember how exactly those back home looks like.

Back at my campus, all my friends were wondering how I was doing. Since I was wearing a mask, there were worried what had happened to me. I eventually explained the situation and asked them not to worry too much. There was even a girl who confessed she was so worried about me. =]. Thanks to them I am motivated to get back my health. Right now I still am sick with flu and a mild sore throat but I hoped to get well from this illness. I had too much fun before I got sick I guessed.

My cure for sickness. I'm drugged right now...
