Relocation to New Site (Updated)

Hi everyone! It's been ages and I know some of you have been keeping track of my blog. This blog has served a good purpose throughout my photography hobby for the past few years. I've been considering trying to upgrade to some premium sites but I failed to do so and instead keep delaying and procrastine the things needed to be done. In the mean time, I'll be doing some research on which sites that can fulfill my photography website. I probably have to pay the sites but I don't think it will cost too much. If it does, then it'll be too bad. Anyway, thank you everyone for this wonderful photographic journey. It was awesome! I'll continue to keep this site on in case you guys just like to check out my old stuffs. I'll let you know the link if it's available. UPDATE: I've now made up a new website/blog. You can check it here . It's still a little messy at the moment (4/4/2016) but you can just check them out. Don't forget to bookmark if you ...

Denis & Lollie's Engagement

Image
Marking September 1, 2014 was when my cousin finally got engaged to a man whom she met somewhere in KK. I don't really know behind their story on how they actually met but somehow their story blossomed and that means their love for each other grew. Lollie is my cousin in the family on my dad's side. We knew each other since we were kids and now all grown up, she's finally opening another new chapter in her life. Adorned with a blue dress and a happy, smiling face, she greeted relatives as well as the family of the man who came from near and far just to see the beautiful engagement takes it place. Denis, the man who won the heart of my cousin came walking with all smiles while keeping a rather cool appearance. He seems a rather quiet kind of guy but I'm sure he's friendly and interesting person to talk to. The ceremony started well in the afternoon. After about an hour of speeches, special music, exchanging of rings and gifts to both families, the ceremony ended wit...

A Dream Came True

It has been ages since the last post. Busyness feels my life from that month on till now. Despite the effort of trying to come back, the real life things were brought as priorities. I once remembered a friend who once told me something very real. It was when I was still a student at UiTM Kota Kinabalu. I forgot what day it was but it surely was in the morning. This story I'm telling is actually true and it happened to me a few years back. She, a girl, of course, had a dream one night. This girl I know isn't that close to me and that the only thing is I know is that she is the younger sister of one of my best friend living in Beluran. As far as I know we only met once or twice in some seminar not long before that. Back to the story, the girl I met had a dream. In that dream, a person approach her and give her a phone number. As far as I can recall, that very phone number belongs to me. I never gave her my number or how she knows (like from her friends) about it. I felt reall...

Why I Love my Pentax

OK. There are plenty of very good camera brands out there since the beginning of camera. There's two of the giant brands - Canon and Nikon, as well as other camera brands such as Sony, Pentax, Olympus, etc. The Canon has FF (Full-Frame) cameras so do Nikon and Sony. The have quality premium lenses, more accessories, more people using them, more and easy access to find items. What about Pentax? Well, Pentax is also one of the few brands being there. So why Pentax? OK, I have a number of reasons I wanted to be and stay being a Pentaxian. One of the many reasons is it's my very first DSLR and I kind of like it. I like how it's being a mysterious, odd and unique camera where most people will either choose the light and dark side of Canon and Nikon respectively. Not many people use Pentax these days. After a while they will switch to Canon or Nikon due to their quality images, L and Nikkor lenses, Full-Frame, etc. After being with Pentax for more than 4 years, I've decided...

Trying out 라면땅 (ramenttang)

Image
A few weeks ago some South Korean students from Sahmyook University came to do their practicum at the same school where I'm also doing my practical. One of the good thing was that they stayed at the same house where I am also staying. While they were together with me for a month I get to enjoy some company since I was all alone staying at that big house. We shared stories about ourselves, learning languages and of course, food. One of the food I get to taste was called 라면땅(Ramenttang). It's basically a snack made from instant noodle that we usually cook very often. In our place we call it Maggi. Ramen, ramyeon, maggi.. that basically the same thing. However, the way my friends made the snack was totally different. What they did was crush the noodle into smaller pieces and fried it in a wok. No oil was actually used and it's fried until it looks golden and a bit burned while adding sugar to it. So it's a sweet snack made out of instant noodle. Of course the seasoning wer...

Hatob Mini Recreation Park

Image
A month ago, my uncle and I went to a Hatob mini recreation park about 15 minutes drive from Kota Marudu. This place, Hatob, is a park near to Lotong village on the way to Sorinsim. From Kota Marudu, you can go through Jalan Lotong or through Jalan Sorinsim to go to this place. Right after the roundabout (going straight from Jalan Sorinsim; Going to the right from Jalan Lotong), there will be a junction with the sign 'Jalan Hatob' on the right after driving a while. At the end of the road is the start of the park where we can park our car. In the park, there's actually a waterfall in which we have to walk some distance to go and see the waterfall. However, during our visit the gate keeper was not there and that we only get to take pictures around the park especially the river below. The quietness of the park is just nice because there's not much people around and you can actually hear the sound of the river flowing as well as sound of animals and insects and birds maki...
