Why I Love my Pentax
OK. There are plenty of very good camera brands out there since the beginning of camera. There's two of the giant brands - Canon and Nikon, as well as other camera brands such as Sony, Pentax, Olympus, etc. The Canon has FF (Full-Frame) cameras so do Nikon and Sony. The have quality premium lenses, more accessories, more people using them, more and easy access to find items.
What about Pentax? Well, Pentax is also one of the few brands being there. So why Pentax? OK, I have a number of reasons I wanted to be and stay being a Pentaxian. One of the many reasons is it's my very first DSLR and I kind of like it. I like how it's being a mysterious, odd and unique camera where most people will either choose the light and dark side of Canon and Nikon respectively. Not many people use Pentax these days. After a while they will switch to Canon or Nikon due to their quality images, L and Nikkor lenses, Full-Frame, etc. After being with Pentax for more than 4 years, I've decided to be with it for the rest of my life unless there's ever a chance that made me to switch to C and N.
I love those Limited premium lenses although I never get to try them out. Although the early camera system like my Pentax K10D which has issues with its auto focusing system, I still like this camera even if now it's showing its ill condition of the green filter due to the sensor problem.
I love being unique rather than be the same with what people have. When money starts pouring in, I'll invest in a K5 as well as other accessories enjoy a good camera tool. As for now, I'll just have to enjoy taking black and white photos because of the green filter issue. Wait for me K5 and Limited lenses...
